We have made it to Barcelona... With only a few very minor defects
with the car.

It's D-Day!!!

That's it folks, the time is finally here for us to set off - again, a huge thank you to all who have donated, we are now about 70 quid short of £3,000! It would be fantastic if in our absence that figure could hit £4,000 between the two charities... We leave that to you guys. In the meantime, we'll update the site if and when we can on route, but otherwise we'll see you all if - sorry, I mean when - we get back!

Thank you to David, Alan, Richard and Brian for taking on the challenge of completing the Barcelona Bangers Rally. I'm sure it will be fabulous fun (for at least 10 minutes!) but I know that when you get on the 'plane to come back you will be even happier!

A huge thank you to all those at Invitrogen who helped us raise this fantastic amount! Also an additional thanks to the marketing department who provided all the goodies and organised & manned the event.

One week to go!!

Only one week left and I'd like to say we're organised and ready to roll. . . . but everyone knows that policemen don't lie. . . . Now over £1,400 raised, it would be fantastic if we could hit the £2,000 mark before we leave. . . .
