well, not quite a musical but the story of our trip will be online shortly. It covers the whole journey from the moment Alan saw a place on the rally for sale on ebay to the flight home! We'll let you know all the funny, sad, angry, panicking moments!

On July 18th, 19th, 20th & 21st we will be taking part in the Barcelona Bangers rally. We will be driving from Calais, down through central France and on to Lyon, then OVER the French Alps and on to fashionable Nice on the final day we drive along the south of France and into Spain and on to Barcelona on the Costa Dorada.. all this in a car worth less than £200.. This year we will be fundraising for two charities - Cancer Research UK and C.O.P.S. ( Care Of Police Survivors ). This masterpiece of german automotive engineering is now in its 15th year on the road, and the years have not been kind to this old workhorse, having been driven the equivalent of 2/3 of the way to the moon... It's had 2 previous careful owners, and about 10 not-so-careful ones, but is still on its original engine and gearbox and still going strong... The 1,600 or so miles to Barcelona will be the last trip she makes, as while the bodgers will fly back home, the old girl will spend her last days in the sun of a Spanish scrapyard...
